Not the present I was hoping for from the folks at BMW NA. I survived the Takata recall without eating shrapnel waiting for that one in the old Subaru. Hopefully my blower motor switch won’t turn my E90 into a Ferrari or Lambo.

“Air conditioner blower wiring could suddenly turn to heat. It’s winter. You’re welcome!”
Because Germans.

Good ol’ “remedy unavailable.”
Got one of those for the passenger airbag sensor for the Solstice, it’s been a year since the recall was issued, they still haven’t figured it out.
Now just waiting for the N20 timing chain class action and then maybe another recall for that.

I have seen this happen a few times...no recall, just one-off repairs for “isolated incidents” (VW/Audi).

Wonder when the motor was fixed since I have an ‘11 E90.

Nice, I forget who all here has an E9X. I’ve had my M3 for 3.5 years and my 328i since March.
